Report a Policy Violation
For those who have many watchers, and for those who don’t have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

Gold star for me for thinking up the most unoriginal concepts on earth.
Will I ever tire of using the Beatles as a drawing subject? Not while I can draw Ringo as a Rhinoceros Beetle, my friends. (he has a big nose, right? And... Rhino beetles have big noses, right? I mean, it's a joke, right?) Right, so. The Beatles as beetles, perhaps the single most unoriginal thought ever to be put to paper. (also perhaps the most satisfying to draw!) Bonus marks for colour. Everybody is obligated to agree with me that not enough dear souls draw Sgt. Pepper outfits. If I had it my way that's all we'd draw, folks. That and Yellow Submarine costumes. I'm not even remotely kidding for those of you who think I'm goofing around. (okay, maybe just a bit...) My favorite part is that their mandibles are cleverly hidden inside their mouths (as Paul is so kindly demonstrating for us) and any compound eyes they might have are obscured by raggedy mop tops. Bonus points times a million. Unlike my last piece this did not take me a zillion years (or layers) to complete. Progress. |

I'm not as afraid of unoriginal ideas as I'd lead a person to believe, I think. I agree that everything's been done and we're all just rehashing the rehash that was rehashed several times before it was even rehashed... But you're quite right, the best we can do is hope to put a new slant on it, or at least a nice gloss.
