What, the Jerk Lads? Yes, the Jerk Lads. Look at me return to my roots.


I really wanted a new featured deviation, 'cause as awesome as drinking with Barbossa and Davy Jones is, the misakes in the drawing are eating me up inside and it's just gotta go. SO WHAT IS BETTER THAN THE JERK LADS? ANSWER: NOTHING.

They're hanging out on the art gallery steps (supposedly in Toronto, but let's be serious and own up to the fact that I drew the Vancouver Art Gallery), taking up space and talking really loud about really rude things. Let's all thank Kory for introducing me to the world of slopping textures onto my drawings. Let's also thank Google image search for all the textures. You rock, Google search.


I sort of miss the Lads. Maybe I'll draw them more? MAYBE.

QUITE NICE. I particularly dig the texturing on Paul's and George's pants, and the vague leaf-ness in the stone.

Judging by the hand gestures I'd wager they're talking about girl hips

Well, I'm never opposed to more Jerk Lads, and I'm probably not in the minority there. And you say it's the art museum, but something about the stone archways reminds me of the Cavern... but that's probably just me.
I'm always a fan of Paul's expression, but I'm now in love with the detail on George's arms. Makes me wonder what's on the rest of him. Hmm.... you wouldn't consider a top-less George, would you? Pweeease?

Like I said, the building is based off of the Vancouve Art Gallery ( [link] ). I don't really remember there being any columns or stone lions outside the Cavern club, hahaha.

And George's tattoos are called "sleeves" for a reason. They're sleeves! He only tattoos his arms- and an obligatory OM on his hip- but other than that there'd be no point drawing him shirtless! We can see all his groovy ink already!

I kind of love this. I think it's super keen. I also love how my "throw textures onto everything" style has kind of leeched off onto other people. Kind of how I took your "white outline" thing. My favorite is Johnny. I love his pose like quite a lot. You can tell George and paul are all tittering endlessly about something obscene. Probably making grandma's with their granddaughters blush.

Just don't tell Johnny's boyfriend. That sort of honesty never ends well.
